SHINE Power Yoga — Medford
2 North Main Street, Medford, NJ 08055
What to expect
SHINE's Medford studio offers hot power vinyasa and nonheated Yin. A reserved class starts on time; its published first-visit guide explains mat setup, props, rest and consent for hands-on assists.
Arrival at Medford
Create an account and reserve a spot online or in the SHINE app. Parking is listed behind the North Main Street building, with limited street spaces. Arrive five to ten minutes early, or 15 minutes early for in-person registration; doors lock when class starts. Bring a mat, hand towel and refillable water bottle. Mats can be rented, and the studio has a sink for refills.
Practice & Instructor Interaction
Classes are barefoot. Hot power vinyasa moves through flowing poses, while nonheated Yin uses a slower, prop-supported format. Blocks and straps are supplied for power classes; bolsters and blankets for Yin. Students can rest in child's pose or drink water. A cork hamsa beside the mat signals consent for hands-on assists; without it, the teacher does not give an assist.
Why This May Be a Good Fit
The nonheated Yin option and provided props offer a different experience from hot power classes. SHINE publishes a clear no-touch default for hands-on assists and expressly permits rest during practice, giving visitors concrete choices before they enter the room.
